I'm tossed up between a few cards. I Do a lot of internet surfing and some gameing. I do ocassional photoshop stuff. I like high-quality images. Unlike bud i can't see the difference between 50 and 100fps, at least i don't think so. I'll upgrade my processer/mobo/ram after the vid card upgrade. I'll wait for the radeon 2 to come out so the prices drop. If i have to wait to christmas i will. I'm in no rush.
Which Video Card to buy
The ultra won't be an option unless it gets cheap enough. Just thought i'd add it anyways.

The pro has faster memory, the core is the exact same for the GTS and PRO. The GTS came in 32 and 64 meg versions the pro was 64 meg only. I had a GF2 Pro for a while, its a good card to overclock because they usually come with factory heatsinks and are way underclocked for the memory that is on them. I had a Hercules GF2 Pro. I believe the stock memory cloc was set at 401, but could go up past 475 without a problem stock cooling. I got a visiontek GF3 now that I can take up over 515. I forget my 3dmark2k1 score, but it is being held back by may rather slow p3 733.
ID10T errors are the cause of most consumer's computer problems.
You might want to consider what games support he Radeon SE advance features not supported in the GF2 series cards and even GF3 cards dealing with 3dTextures (driver 14.?? supports 3dtextures in the GF3s, not know if it is hardware or software).
There are a number of games missing such as Serious Sam supporting the 3 texture unit and Enviromental Bump Mapping and WarCraft3. Things just look better with a Radeon. Radeon 64 SE is a hell alot of card for the buck.
