I need one if you web/Internet gurus to help me out on something.
I want to use my website (overvolt.com) to store files such as gifs sound files and so forth and be able to link to them from forums emails and so forth.

I could create an album for pictures no problem . But how about things like sound files .
Do I need to upload a database or forms?

The site is hosted for free at Doteasy.com and I already found out that I can't run scripts with the free level of hosting. I don't know what other restrictions there may be.

PF Turned me on to the site so maybe if you're around you can help me.

I use FrontPage to create web pages.

Firstly, think about this from a user point of view: Do we really want sound files in our email? I have never recieved a sound file in an email that was from a company. It just isn't professional.

Secondaly, I'm not sure what your asking fully. If you create an open directory and leave all your sound files in there people can access them. For emails, can't you just provide the URL?
