Hi there,
I´m have a wireless router using WEP Security with a password much over 20
letters.
So far no problem but when trying to conntect my PDA (Sony Clie) to the
network it alway tells me that WEP has to contain 5 or 13 letters or 10/16
hex-letters.
Is there a difference between the two WEP ?

No there is no difference. Your AP creates a 5 or 13 byte WEP key from the
phrase you entered. Your PDA wants that key because it does not translate a
phrase to a key.
