i850 and iBook

i'm unable to install the i850 driver on to my iBook (g3 700 384 ram, 20
g hdd OS X 10.2.8).

keep getting driver not installed message, even though driver has been
installed.

any solutions?

I don't use OS X, but if the driver is fussy like the Windows driver, it
may require a specific installation pattern.

I've seen some installs where the printer must be turned off when you
start the install, and then turned on when the driver instructs you to
do so. If not, the computer does not detect the driver properly.

Try re-installing the driver, but make sure you follow the exact
procedures step by step.
