First thanks to all the posters who helped me out with a few technical
issues, and also to my neigbour who lent me a 2.4 celeron so I could flash
my Bios to get my new Prescott working.

heres the system:
Lian_li PC 60 Server case
P4P800 deluxe
P4 2.8 Prescott CPU
Antec TruePower 550P
1Gb Corsair TwinX 3200LL-Pro (2X512 in Dual channel mode).
2 X Maxtor 80Gb SATA HDD
2 X Maxtor 120Gb IDE HDD
Asus 402P DVD Burner
Lite-On 5232K CD-RW/DVD Dive
Sapphire 9800Pro Atlantis Radeon
SB Audigy LS

Right now everything is working fine, the two 120 Gb drives are on the Via
controller, the optical drives are on the standard IDE controller. Nothing
secondary, all are set as Masters.
board is very stable, speed os excellent.
Considering my last build was a CUSL2-C with an 866 PIII, Its been a while
since an upgrade, but it all went fairly smoothly. I bought a smaller
Lian-Li case and installed my whole old system in that, once that was
working I built the new system in this huge Lian-Li server case. I realised
I needed to hit F6 for the Via controller on install, but didnt realise that
I also needed to install drivers inside windows Xp for that, so That was on
small hiccup. second was I couldnt get a working Ethernet/Direct Serial
cable/Direct USB connection between the two to run the file/settings
transfer wizard, In the end I burned it to CD and did it that way.
Only one problem left, I tried to purchase a Thermalright Sp-94 cooling
block here in Thailand but they were out of stock at the only distributor,
so I am using the stock heatsink with Arctic silver II. Right now my temps
are running 49C to 56C Off load, Which to me is a bit high, even though
ambient room temp here is around 38-40C.
This was logged with PC-Probe, yeah yeah I know. Anyone else think this is a
little high for idleing temp??.
My den here is not air-conditioned, so should I try the thermalright, of
just bite the bullet and buy the asetek water cooling kit.

Freddie,
With temps like that, the most effective thing you can do is get an air
conditioner :)
