My Epson 875DC printer will not read cards (Smartmedia or
compact flash ) since I installed windows XP Home.
I have downloaded the latest drivers, and the actual
printing works fine, but when I try to access the card
reader, I get an error message stating that the card is
not formatted, or not inserted correctly, or has too few
pixels etc.
I still have windows ME (as a dual boot), and the printer
works fine on this.
I note from the windows support database that there was a
problem which was supposed to be resolved with SP1, but I
have all the latest updates.
Any help would be appreciated as Epson do not appear to
want to know.
