Hi all,

i have a network adapter (U.S. Robotics). The card is not working any more.
I cannot reinstall the driver. There is a error message after finishing the
driver install: "File not found". - Has anybody a idea?
How can i completely remove the adapter from the system?

Thanks!

to get to device manager
click start/run/devmgmt.msc
expand the network adapters group by clicking on the +
R click the adapter/click uninstall

if uninstall goes successfully you can try a reinstall
R click the network adapters group/ click on "scan for hardware changes"

you may be able to get a driver from the manufacturers web site if the
driver is not in XP
