everytime i try to install a new piece of software on my computer, i fail. i am able to sucessfully run the drive and view the files, however when i double-click the setup icon i simple get an hourglass to replace my cursor for a few seconds before everything goes back to normal. i have also tried going through the control panel options, add/remove programs. this doesn't work either. does anybody have any tips for me out there? anything could help, i am not a novice at this sort of thing, and being stuck with a problem like this makes me feel really stupid. thank you again.
