Asus M2N-SLI or Soundblaster Live! Audio?

Hey all:

I just installed Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit) on my machine at home, and I've got a problem.

I don't have audio. Windows tells me sound is getting to the speakers, but nothing comes out. I have two front speakers and a small sub.

Does anyone know of drivers or a way to get drivers for either an old Creative Soundblaster Live! (Live 5.1) soundcard for Win7 or working Win7 audio drivers for an Asus M2N-SLI (NOT "Deluxe") motherboard?

Any help is appreciated!

Make sure that the onboard sound is your default sound device. Windows will often try to use the built in sound on Radeon cards, and a few nVidia cards, when you install the drivers. Go to the control panel, sound, select speakers, and set as default. If your HDMI output is selected as the default then you won't get any sound out of your speakers because windows is trying to output it from your sound card via HDMI.
