I'm trying to hook up a Visioneer's Primascan iCam 320, a
great little webcam. I've used the very same webcam before
on another computer with Windows XP, and had absolutely no
trouble. I don't know why it's doing this now!
The problem is, when I hook in my webcam, it immediately
seems to recognize the correct driver-- but then, a second
later, it suddenly changes from iCam 320 to something
called Micro Webcam. No matter how many times I try to
uninstall the Micro Webcam driver from the device manager,
and install the correct driver (I've tried both the
official CD -and- downloading it off the internet), the
same thing happens. I've even tried disabling Micro Webcam
and installing iCam, but it doesn't work.
