Slipstreaming is the method with which you can create Windows 2000 or
higher install disks with the latest service pack included if you've
only got an original CD, plus the service pack on disk and a CD writer.
Given you already have XP SP1, you most likely will not have to bother
with this any time soon, provided you have the last RPC patch handy.

Is it possible to slipstream the security patches also? In fact is there a
way to capture or download without installing the security patches that are
installed with Windows Update?

Leo,
I don't know about your slipstreaming question but you can directly
download the stuff from Windows Update site by going to it and then
under the "See Also" heading click Windows Update Catalog. It will walk
you through from there and let you store the downloads from your
"Basket" wherever you would like. HTH.
