I have a glucose meter with a 9-pin serial connector. I
have a serial to usb adaptor attached. When I plug it
in, my PC recognizes the device but will not upload
data. Manufacturer of device said to uncheck the box
that says "allow serial cable or infrared connection on
this port" I cannot find that anywhere.

I downloaded the latest ActiveSync software but it won't
complete the process. It needs to read the device in
order to finish working.

I need help here! The port number is COM6 and it is
available.

Thanks
