Hi NG,
I have a A7N8X 2.0 Deluxe with a single Samsung HDD attached to the
SATA-controller. I want the drive as a single drive (don't even want to boot
from it). How can I do this?
At the moment, the controller knows the HDD and my WinXP knows the
controller, but I don't see the HDD within windows.

You loaded the sata drivers? formated the disk?

Did you format the drive using XP's Disk Administrator?

Did you partition the disk? I don't think XP will see it until it is
partitioned. You may use partition magic or a win98 bootable floppy
and run fdisk.
Then format it from xp
