More info?)
Hi, Walter.
I was hoping someone else would jump in with a solution. :>(
Does Drive A: appear at all in My Computer? Does Device Manager show a
Floppy Drive Controller? Does it show a Floppy Disk Drive?
You changed to WinXP Home Edition FROM what? Did this same hardware -
including the floppy drive - work before? Did you upgrade from Win9x/ME?
Or did you do a clean install? What is the make and model of your computer?
Sorry for all the questions, but I'm not a mind reader and I can't see your
computer. All I know about it so far is that it's running WinXP HE and the
floppy doesn't work. That's not much to go on! :>(
