well here should be a simple question just wondering
weather xp can install the raid drivers while going
through the install procedure from a usb floppy
or even a usb thumbdrive which would be a lot better
thanks for any answers

Depends entirely on the motherboard, if it has legacy support for these devices it will work.

it does have legacy support for these devices but windows
setup seems only to copy raid drivers of a FDD and only
off the a: drive :(
