My iPAQ 2215 did a spontaneous hard reset while using Bluetooth (I
hate that thing! It disconnects and it is impossible to transfer a
file of over 4MB!)
Now I have a complete backup (Sprite Backup Premium) and did a
restore. This is good.
But, after the restore it has to soft-reset. When the reset bar is at
the end (while booting, I assume) the machine freezes!
I tried many things, but I assume these are worth trying (but could
not do it by myself)
- seeing the registry right after restoring, but before rebooting
(this way I might remove the failing program startup)
- entering a debug-mode while rebooting, such that I can see which
program is doing the hang
Please, help me with this, for I am completely stuck! (And I already
did a complete reinstall of every program 2 times before due to
ROM-update etc.)
ps: I do have the rom update, tried a reset with and without the cards
installed etc.

'thanks for the reply' but it seems that the restore restores the
registry in alphabetical order. This means that the drivers are loaded
in the wrong order. The serial drivers are screwed up, because of
this. However, I do not know in which order the4se should load (or
where they are located in the registry).
In version 3 the registry is backupped and restored in the same order
as they were, so that is an improvement. However, I cannot use that
since my registry already has been screwed up.
Anyone, please come up with an idea to change the order of some
registry keys ... (And, please tell me which registry keys that could
be or where to look for them)
