Strange, just ran HD Tach 2.7 on both of my PATA drives and it says CPU
Utilization is 0.0%. With IDE driver from the previous forceware drivers
(3.13?) it was showing 23.5%. Transfer/bursts rates basiclly unchanged.

I have 2 x SATA drives in a RAID0 array, and my system did not like the IDE
drivers, so I switched back to the standard MS ones. --

Not to sound like an idiot, but is it OK to use these drivers? I stopped
with the latest (1.16?) from Asus because of the product ID numbering. IS
this no longer an issue, allowing for reference driver use?

Actually I think the original drivers were the fastest (Asus v1.16?) for
my plain jane A7N8X v2.
I used to get better transfer rates over my LAN (lost about 500-600 bps)
, ram scores are lower, 3D marks are no better. The HDD may be a hair
faster and use less CPU usage but the rest of the PC just seems to of
gotten slower according to benchmarks.
