Hi,

I have moved my USB cables around, and suddenly my
peripherals have been renamed. My "CanoScan 8000F" is now
suddenly "CanoScan 8000F #2" etc.

How do I rename the entries in Device Manager?

Hi,

The whole idea of it being renamed is that you can have one of the
devices plugged into each USB socked in the computer and they will all work
at once. The name of the device is not critical in it's operation unless it
conflicts with another, hence the name being changed, I wouldn't worry about
it if I were you.

Nick.
