FarCry keeps crashing on my... exception_illegal_instruction is the error message I get... I tried increasing my VCore, so I do not think that is it... I read online in a search that lowering settings helps... any suggestions on what to lower without taking away from the beauty of the game... I am talking about my modded ATI 9500np to 9700np... I think I have all the settings on high except for water, which is on very high... I only started getting crashes during the treetops part...

Just try to lower the settings and run it. If that solves the problem, start increasing the settings back to where they were before. Then you can find out what effect is causing the problem. Also, what are the temps of your CPU?

Last night my temps were like 42c...

Are you running the 1.1 patch? This upgrade seems to fix a lot of things in the single player. This solved my problem.

Try lowering shadows and lighting to medium-should help a lot.

I am running Prime95 right now at 208x12 annd it seems very stable.... my fsb was at 211x11.5 before... FarCry could well be a game that requires a Prime95 stable system... I just want more out of my mobile barton...
