Possible causes for frequent reboots?

I'm experiencing frequent unexpected reboots on my XP
system; just started over the last few weeks. No errors
show up in any of the system logs, other than noting
that "system has recovered from a bugcheck".

Any ideas on where I should be looking to debug? It feels
like a hardware issue, but I haven't a clue where to
start. Thanks...

Heat (clean it out), power supply (could also be heat), but
the error message "bugcheck" sounds a little strange,
unless you have some system checking software, I'd suspect a
virus.

I'm thinking you're on the right track with heat, but I
haven't been able to prove it. The exact event log
message is:

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck
was: 0x0000009c (0x00000001, 0x805366f0, 0xb6002000,
0x00000152). A dump was saved in:
C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini050904-04.dmp.

Check the cabling on your drives, also run a chkdsk to see if there
are any errors.
