Was doing some reading regarding my new i860 printer and ran across a web page
by Neil Slade ( http://www.neilslade.com/papers/inkjetstuff.html )regarding
printers. Sounded like he knows a fare amount and saw he recommended ink cart
for Canon from InkGrabber.com. They have new 3rd part carts for $2 and the
article said he had good experience with them recommended these carts for those
that didn't want to refill on their own.

At the quoted price they must be coming from somewhere like China and I wonder
if it is possible to get anything decent at this price. Took a look at BizRate
for Inkgrabber and their rating looks pretty good overall.

In the long term I will likely be buying bulk ink from MIS as they are the ones
I've been using but was just wondering if these $2/qlty carts are too good to be
true. If you've tried these, I would like to know what you thought.

I'd certainly be sceptical at that price (it's just over £1). I buy JetTec
and have never had a problem (works out at £2.75/$4.91 per cartridge when
purchased in a set of 12 or £3.06/$5.64 separately. Guaranteed lightfast for
25 years+ in normal conditions (I also use their glossy photo paper).
