High temperatures on V9950

Hi,

I'm getting quite high temperatures on my ASUS V9950 GFX card.
The problem occurs when I upgrade the drivers to the Forceware
ones (any version), I've tried both nVidias and ASUS drivers,
they both give the exact same result: temperature increase by
over 20º C on idle (idle at 60º C, working at roughky 70º C
(playing games like Far Cry (major problems with the game too,
no idea why), GTA: VC, SCT)).

At the moment I'm using ASUS' 45.23 drivers, they are the most
stable drivers I've used so far. The idle temperature is around 40º C
and working temperature goes up to about 65-70º C.

Is 60º C (as idle temperature) a lot for the Forceware drivers?
I think it is a bit too high considering it never really goes over 70-75º C
when it's working (like playing Far Cry at 1280x1024 everything on max,
AA & AF at maximum (totally unplayable btw)).

I can place 2 fans just above the GFX-card, should I install them? Perhaps
cools the GFX card a litte. Is the standard cooling for the card enough?
I've heard about others that cools a lot better (takes up more space
though).

I have a new PSU that I got a month or so ago, it's an Antec Truepower 550W.
It's much better than my old 360 W Chieftec (Got S-ATA harddrive problems
with it, had to replace the motherboard once and one of the S-ATA drives,
the
problems haven't appeard since I got the new PSU.

Anyone know WTH nVidia did with the Forceware drivers?
