Hi All, I checked the Asus website to determine this but cannot find for
sure, specs just say 6 USB ports. Does anyone know, does the P4S333 (no
extension) use and support USB 2.0?

My WinXP keeps reminding me that a USB 2.0 device is connected to a USB 1.0
port. I have 2 USB ports on the motherboard and 4 more on a PCI card that I
used to have in my Asus P2B machine. I just purchased a 4-port USB hub
(Belkin) and they too said drivers were available on their web site but I
could not find any driver for the F5U234 Hub.

If no one can say for sure whether the P4S333 ports are 2.0, is there any
way I can determine what version (2 or 1) all 6 of mine are? I have SiSoft
Sandra and Belarc if that helps.
XP states "the HI-SPEED USB Hub will function at reduced speed. You must
add a HI-SPEED USB host controller to this computer to obtain maximum
performance".

I tried Windows Update, it found no driver updates for my PC. The Asus web
site only gave me USB drivers for a totally different motherboard.

Please could anyone help me?
TIA,
katy

Your motherboard uses ALL USB 1.1 ports. You do not have any USB 2.0 ports.

Thanks Dave, is there any way I can convert them to 2.0, perhaps by flashing
the motherboard?
