A7V8X-MX SE
AMD 2600+
2 x 256Mb DDR266
Bios v.2002
Generic 300w power supply
On board graphics and sound

The system is running beautifully except I made the mistake (?) of
running Sandra and get this message:

"Memory bus speed exceeds memory rated speed. Reduce memory bus
speed."

I let it set itself up initially and haven't changed anything. POST
reports: Memory clock is DDR266

In BIOS, DRAM clock is by SPD. Choices are 133, 266.
Processor settings all seem to be locked in, they are greyed out.

I really have trouble understanding these settings - would be grateful
to be pointed in the right direction... :)

Well, I have tried all combinations of DRAM clock setting and I still
get the message in Sandra. Guess it is a Sandra quirk...

At least the system runs beautifully....
