Keyboard issues

Your caps lock is on -- laptops use the right side of the keyboard as a
numeric key pad when caps lock is turned on.
Refer to your users manual for instructions on how to turn caps lock off.
Problably a two-key operation, such as "FN" + "Caps Lock"

are okay in uppercase). Yet if i use the caps lock, then I have the same
problems, just in uppercase. I know this is wierd and I am very baffled
by it all. Any assistance with this would be greatly appreciated.

Some of the HP laptops use a flexable circuitboard like cable to connect the
keyboard. These have had very high failure rates on certain series laptops.
