Hello,
after adding a third hd with a Win98 installation, my XP started to
crash during the Windows logo & sliding bar screen. Booting with an
installation cd gave a blue screen with a stop code 0x0CA, first
parameter 0x01
(see http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/ [...] s_92nb.asp ).
I started to remove components to see what was the cause and
everything started to work after I took out my second hd. Now Xp's
running fine with a Maxtor Diamond and a Seagate Medalist, but I can't
use my Seagate Barracuda anymore. Even if I just leave the two
original hds in. The funny thing is that in Win98 all the three drives
seem to work fine together, so the Barracuda shouldn't be damaged or
anything.
I really don't know how to get the Barracuda work again with Xp. What
can cause ahardware to be seen twice by a driver and how to fix that?
Any ideas?

Hi,
For a dual boot system, you must install Win 98 first and then install XP on other drive.
