  4. Well here is the second episode in regards to Canon i9100 print head replacement.
Canon in their wisdom decide to make this printer obsolete has of 30 of December of 2010 so
now there are no print heads available anywhere on the net. Here I am with an expensive printer
that unless I luck out and find a replacement print head will be garbage.
I do not know how Canon can just stop the supply of spare parts without any regards for the ones that
paid good money for a wide carriage printer , you would think that they could at least offer a discount
on a newer model so much for Canon public relations, for my part I will sure think twice before buying another Canon product.
Is there anyone out there that can help me find a print head (QY6-0039) or knows how to forward
    this message to Canon.

  6. You can find these printheads at eBay--just type "Cannon I9100 printhead". They come from China, but that's where they are made I believe. Hope this helps.
  7. Assign the printer a static IP address ( Wireless Printer Off-line Problems )
For more help , visit http://www.techtoolsweb.com/printer/wireless-printer-of...
    or http://www.techtoolsweb.com/
An IP address is an Internet network address that the computer can use to communicate with the printer. Enter a static IP address to make sure that the wireless connection remains stable. Follow these steps to assign the printer a static IP address.
o Get the printer IP address.
o Press the Wireless button on the printer control panel to view the network settings.
o Access the Network menu on the printer control panel.
o Print a Network Configuration Page or Wireless Test Report page.
o Once you have the printer’s IP address, open a new web browser window or tab.
o Type the IP address in your web browser’s address bar, and then press Enter.
Make sure that you type the IP address into the browser’s address box. If you type it into a tool bar search box, the EWS will not open.
The Embedded Web Server (EWS) for the printer opens and confirms that the printer is on the same network as the computer
