According to AIDA32 and Lavalys Everest Home Edition system info tools, AGP
is disabled. Everything in the BIOS looks correct.

I have an ATI 9700 Pro video card with the latest ATI drivers.
WinXP Pro

Looked at the ASUS site for any sort of chipset drivers, but didn't see
anything that looked relevant.

Any input would be appreciated!

Also after installing that chipset driver update, reinstall DirectX 9.0b or
whatever newest release is out there.
