help with ctrl and alt keys

ive got an odd problem, started when i began playing
counterstrike/ diablo2 again recently

my ctrl, bound to "duck" doesent last long...how to explain,
it stays depressed, but in game randomly(usually within 2
seconds) it stops, im running again(big problem in leauge
play where makeing a sound can make or break a round easily"

alt is the same way, used in diablo2 though for hilighting
droped items

right now im useing mouse4 for duck, hard getting used to it

also this happens with every keyboard in my house, i have
5, microsoft, gateway, logitech brands, im on xp pro
the other pc in my house works fine, but to slow to play
games properly, its on xp

found latest drivers i could, didnt work, its not a big
problem, but annoing at times
