missing audio

Hello:

i just reinstalled winxp home edition. Under device mgr "other devices" r
yellow ? for multimedia audio controller and video controller (VGA
compatible).

All programs show "working properly" under the sounds, etc menu in device
mgr.

How do i get my sound back?

Install the XP compatible drivers for your sound card. Go to the
manufacturers site to download if you haven't got them.
