I need to have a 32 bit screen resolution for something im trying to do. But my max screen Resolution only goes to 24 bit. Will buying a Windows XP upgrade give me the ability to increase my screen resolution? If not, please tell me what I can do.

Visit the support website of the manufacturer of your video card or
video card adapter, search for the latest Windows XP compatible
drivers, download and install them.

If you have a notebook computer, visit the website of the manufacturer
of your notebook computer to obtain the video adapter drivers.

Then right-click on your Desktop and select:
Properties > Setting and adjust your Screen Resolution
settings, then select "Highest (32 bit) Color Quality setting,
and click "apply".
