I am having a rough time with a new laptop timing out on a wireless connection.
I am running XP Tablet, SP2. When I try to connect to the wireless network,
I can see the network on my list. When I click on my network and hit
connect, I get a message that says to wait while Windows connects to the
network/waiting for the network. The connection times out after about a
minute or so, drops me back out to the 'choose a wireless network' screen and
yet I am still not connected.
I have the most up to date drivers installed.
Every other machine works flawlessly on this WLAN, so it has to be something
(probably obvious) on this particular machine's configuration. Would
appreciate any ideas. Thanks.
