Just purchased a new Compaq Presario R3000 running Windows XP HOme with three USB ports. I am trying to connect a Palm Connect USB Kit. Installed the new Palm Desktop and WindowsXP drivers from Palm. I plug in the USB adapter and it pops up on the Device Manager. The first time I launch, the software says it is trying to use Com1 but it is unavailable. Only Com3 appears. I try to hot sycn the Palm Pilot, but it will not work. Does anyone have a Palm Connect USB Kit running under Windows XP Home?
