A portable version of Kinect sounds much better. Obviously microsoft already own this patent, but using webcam interpolation to detect gestures is always a wash.

Yay! Another half-ssed google project that will wallow in beta status then finally feel unpolished and 1.0 when it hits 2.0.

These guys get great ideas but they never finish what they start. Get some feature parity before trying to dazzle already.

Are you trolling..? You do know that they release updates to introduce NEW FEATURES right?
It's better than paying for your updates.. *Cough* Apple *Cough*..

Take Android, Google, Google Maps, Google Earth, Chrome for example; Each one updated for FREE, introducing more features to play with FOR FREE, few bugs if any and if you find one your most likely looking for it.

Why are you complaining about technology updates and improvements when in the end it's free to us?
Google is amazing. :D I don't think any other company has so many free services and products that are so useful.

If you ask me it sounds a awful lot like Kinect for Xbox on Android though probably works a bit differently and ideally better. It almost sounds like a air guitar type of interface actually which is pretty damn cool to think about.
