I've got a pretty nasty situation. Me and my friend each own a cable modem. We'd like to setup a home network between three computers using both modems. The cable modems have dynamic ips that the DHCP changes about once every month. Is it possible to setup a home network running any version of Windows with this configuration? If so I'd greatly appreciate your help. Thanx!

Don't worry, search for Windows tools that let you do this. Although I never used one, I am aware of the fact that there are a LOT of such tools available on the net - designed specifically to tackle the situation you are describing.

btw, you can have a look at <A HREF="http://www.zdnet.com/pcmag/pctech/content/18/15/tf1815.001.html" target="_new">this article</A> and the links it points to.

Thanks, I'll look into that.
But I'm not sure that article is of any help because it's about a classical home network, meaning one external ip, a router, hub, and many computers with diffrent NICs. My problem is that I would have TWO external IPs, meaning that my poor computers would end up screwing up real bad while accessing the net ;-). Thanx anyway!
