Inted D865perl digital spdif sound output problem

No sound from line or mic inputs are heard on spdif output, but any wav
playback can be heard on spdif. I have the latest drivers from Intel,
however I can't find any settings that allow sound from analog inputs
on the spdif output.

I can record these inputs and play them back on the spdif outputs, but I
want to hear them while recording.

I also have a M-Audio DIO 2448 card for spdif input and have the same
results (records fine, but can't hear while recording)
