Internet is not working on windows 7

Hello,
I am not able to connect internet through broadband . I am getting a red cross symbol between unidentified network and internet . I have checked by disbling and enabling adapter settings,trouble shooting in all possible ways and also had reset dsn....... but still no use

You need to list how you are connecting, wireless wired? To the modem or through a router? Have you reset the modem and/or the router? Tried different cables? You can't just list "I tried stuff" without saying what you tried, what have you done so far?
