OK, i am at my wits end on this one...

Two weeks ago, i upgraded to a P4P800SE/P4 2.8c 1MB/1GB Kingston 3200 with
OS=XP Pro. Upgrade went without a hitch however when i attempted to get the
sound dialed in on my SBLive 5.1 card for surround sound (Cambridge 5.1
DTT2200), all i could get was sound from the two back speakers? I ran
through some tests:
- Ensured the right drivers were installed
- Uninstalled the drivers and re-installed them.
- Checked BIOS, could not find anything out of the ordinary.
- Tried a second set of speakers, same result

So then i tried the O/B sound, but i got the same results. I played around
with the connectors from the O/B and could not get the 5.1 to come
through...

SO, after running around with this, I decided to return the board to see
what they can do with it. After about an hour of testing on their end, they
decided that replacing the board would help as although they did not have a
5.1 set up in place, they couldn't even get left to right on a 2 speaker
system and would play to both all the time. The same would occurr with 2
sets of 2speakers... The sound would play to all 4 at the same time.. So
they gave me another board and i completed the swap last night. Well.....
The same results are there again!!! All i am getting is sound from the back
2 speakers?

What am i missing here? I think i have found just about every setting there
is and assured that they are set accordingly? Where are good places to look
for solutions on this?

Really not much I can tell you. I have the same board running the
onboard sound through Altec Lansing 5.1 speakers. Each speaker is
playing its proper channel. OS is XP Pro SP2.
