Anyone here interested in a small lot (8) of rev 1.10 P2B mobos ? I've
seen them go for some (too much?) money on Ebay... but I'd rather
sell them to someone out here who'd be interested in having fun with
them.

[Optional stuff: They are currently in some very nice Mitek mid tower
cases, like new condition with other similar vintage components
available 32x CD-ROMs, 4 or 6bg IDE, SMC net cards, ATI AGP @ Play]

The entire lot of stuff is available for a song.

If any of the regulars around here have a use for them, drop me an
email at uctraing@ultranet.com. I have to clear these out of my
storage fairly quickly, so don't wait if you want them.

Alternately, some places in the world allow the donation of
computing equipment to schools, in return for some tax relief.
If the systems are working, and aren't complete dogs, I bet
some school in your area could use a few more computers.

Even a technical school could use stuff like this to practice on,
like electronics repair etc. Plenty of stuff to unsolder and
resolder etc.

If you need the money, then Ebay is one alternative, otherwise
check what newsgroups exist in your own local area. A purchaser
in your own area, who can drive by and pick up, will purchase
with more confidence than someone over the net. Shipping complete
systems will cost so much as to make the Ebay purchase hard to
sell. (At least the prices I've seen for shipping. Like $75US for
large qty shipping, $150+ for one offs.)

Thanks Paul. I've tried the local sell... no one seems interested.
Since shipping the systems is prohibitive, I thought I might just part
them out, as noted. These are only Cel333's and I've stripped the
memory down to around 32mb each so they'd need some upgrading for a
school or such. I'v put 1+g and 384mb into some and I use them here
but tinkering with these is not for everyone.

I might chase down that school alternative. That might pan out. I'll
also check out the link owner.
