Tried to install 'Laplink' and following reboot screen
hung. Restarted and message box headed 'SPRINGFLD-ADV-
DAEMON:WksCal.exe-EntryPoint Not Found' and the message
in the box said ' The procedure entry point GetIUMS could
not be located in the dynamic link library MSDART.DLL'

I have followed the trouble shooting help in XP but to no
avail, the screen remains at the lowest setting.

Can anyone please help

Regards
Harry

Interesting. The wkscal.exe refers to a component of Microsoft Works, which
has nothing to do with your video. The rest of the error, I've typically
seen when doing a repair install of pre-SP1 onto a computer that had SP1
installed. And that wouldn't typically effect your video either.

And how any of that relates to installing laplink...sounds very odd indeed.

First thing to try would be to reinstall your video drivers, but it seems
that you've got other problems as well.
