weird copying behavior

i'm helping someone using XP for first time. she
selected files off a floppy to burn straight onto CD and
it worked fine. since then, every time she copies FILE X
onto a floppy disk, subsequent floppies are erased and
FILE X is automatically copied onto them too!

also, CD-burning now fails strangely. the software says
it's completed successfully but nothing's on the CD.
this might be an issue specific with the software makers
though...

Try one of two things:
Try a system restore to a time before copying the floppy to CD
Uninstall and reinstall the CD burning software.
