Often but (only around 12PM-) the date would change on
its own forward by 2 days or 1 day ... the time would be
correct but the date would show two days ahead. Say today
is 15th...then at 12PM it would change automatically to
17th...
can one help?

perhaps you have it set in a different timezone?
Try this:

START>CONTROL PANEL>DATE AND TIME>TIMEZONE
and select the correct timezone you are in.

tell me if this works
