more memory question

i have an asus a7n8x-e with 512Mb of memory. The existing memory was
bought from ebuyer

I'm contemplating buying another 512Mb of memory.

Can someone just to confirm that there should not be a problem buying
another 512 of the same make to boost my system up to 1gb?

As long as they are identical sticks there will be no problems.
One stick in slot 1 and one stick in slot 3 will be ok if they are double
sided sticks.
Read your motherboard manual regarding RAM.
