After some research I thought I should go for a Umax Astra 6400. I am not quite sure though. From all the reviews I read everyone keeps on saying that firewire is really fast. So this is a quite cheap scanner around 130$(Firewire Card included). This is how I made up my mind. Any information you could give me on that particular scanner would be more than helpful. If you consider that something else would be better (around 130$) please do mention it(any interface).
