My problem is that I want to format a flashdisk with the
old file system from win 95 or win 98, but since it's
different dos version on win XP and win 95 so dose it not
work.

I need to get the same file system that it is on win 95
on my flash card, because the robot system I need to use
the flash card on is not accepting the flash disk when
it's formated Win XP.

But if i format it on an old machine with win 95 on it,
so is the robot system accepting the flash card.

and I need a program or something that is possible to
format it on an XP machine for customer.

Windows 95 does not support USB, so a Flash disk (thumb
drive?) will have trouble I think.
You should have an option to format the flash disk as FAT
using XP.

I also use a CF card with a Lexar USB 2.0 Reader that
supports about 10 different card types. I use xD cards in
my camera and use CF for portable storage.
xD cards formatted on the Lexar Reader by XP are not seen by
the camera, but cards formatted by the camera can be read by
XP.
You might look on the card reader site or elsewhere for
multi-format software.

You might look at www.lexarmedia.com and or Google for
