ok, i have to setup a small network for a friend, she already has a Wireless Router.. now, the router works fine with the Computer that's right next to it. but she has another Computer she just bought that's like across the house downstairs.. and she needs it to be Hardwired to the router, cause teh signal blows..

Is there any settings i have to change so this can work?
or can the router only work as a wireless, or vica/versa.

never worked with a Wireless router before.

so she wants one pc to be on wireless, and the other hooked up with a wire on teh same router.. can this be down? and is there anything i will have to change in settings??

thanks alot guys.

does it have 4 ports on the LAN side? If so, no problem. Just hook up to one of those for the physical connection.

I think that model has 4 rj45 ports on the back so you can run a wire. Personally I have no problem running wire and that's what I'd do if I were you. If you don't want to run a wire, I think they make signal boosters that may help the signal drop.
