Epson 1520 printer- worth it?

I have a chance to pick up an Epson 1520 printer and one of the
feature I wanted is the ability to print in large format like Ledger
(11x17" ). Someone is offering me one complete in box for $10, all I
need are new ink carts. From what I remember, the retail price of
that printer was quite high so $10 is cheap. But is it worth it or is
there a common problem with 1520 that I should be aware of?

I'll be using it with Win XP BTW so no issue with Mac driver.
