my computer keeps restarting. it has a stop error or
something like that. and when i send the error report to
microsoft it says its a device error. but doesn't
specify. can anyone help? tyler

Looks like the sasser virus to me
Check a site like mcafee or symantec vor removal instructions

No, that certainly has *NOTHING* whatsoever to do with sasser or any other
kind of virus for that matter. Sasser has the Remote NT Authority shutdown
and the 60 seconds countdown - it certainly wouldn't produce a blue screen
and a message about a device driver!

Tyler,

Check the Event Viewer (Control Panel > Admin Tools > Computer Management >
Event Viewer > System) and find the log for the corresponding time and see
if that gives you any clues.
