Dear Sirs,

I have 2 unused ASUS Mother boards - an "ASUS A7V400-MX SE" & an "ASUS A7N8X DeLuxe" motherboards. Since these are very good motherboards, I would want to install Windows 7 professional and Windows 7 Ultimate on these respectively.

In order to achieve this capability, please help what version of BIOS needs to be installed on both the motherboards and any other changes I would be required to make in order to make the Window 7 work on these mother boards perfectly well and also that would help me make use of the Windows XP mode work flawlessly?

Thank you,

This is a bit optimistic for a 2003 and 2005 motherboard without specific driver support from the manufactures.

Install the latest available BIOS. A7N8X Deluxe BIOS 1009 (2005) & A7V400-MX SE Beta BIOS 1003.002 (2006)
Then cross your fingers.

There is some indication by other A7N8X Deluxe / A7V400-MX SE owners that Windows 7 will recognize and support those motherboards, with some possible limitations.
