IDM is consuming more than 50% CPU in Windows 8!!

I have Windows 8 installed on my system and IDM v6.12 and the IDM is consuming more than 50% of cpu usage. I have also tried installing previous versions of IDM but the problem is stiil there. I guess its the problem with windows 8 'cause it wasnt there in Windows 7.
Any suggestions what to do to solve this problem?
